Police released a physical description of the attacker and warned the watch may be offered for sale while urging witnesses to come forward.

Overview

  • A man attacked a 60-year-old woman on a stairway in Bremen's Altstadt, opened her watch clasp and took her Rolex before fleeing on foot.
  • About 50 metres later the suspect grabbed a passing cyclist, pulled him off the bicycle and continued his escape riding the stolen bike.
  • Officers describe the suspect as roughly 30 years old with a strong build, short curls, a dark complexion, camouflage cargo pants and an olive T‑shirt.
  • The stolen watch is a Rolex Yacht‑Master 42 in black and white gold valued at at least €25,000 and police say it could be offered for sale.
