Supergiant Releases Hotfix 4 for Hades II on PC With Targeted Boon and Bug Fixes

Restoring intended boon, enemy stun and input-queue behavior to protect run reliability, the patch will be ported to Switch consoles later.

Overview

  • Supergiant published Hotfix 4 for Hades II on PC/Steam on Wednesday, June 10, delivering a narrowly scoped update with no new content.
  • The patch fixes Medea’s Suffering on Sight so it no longer damages foes already present when a new location spawns enemies, and corrects Hermes’ Tall Order so its bonus requires the intended Element condition.
  • Hotfix 4 also repairs a prior hotfix’s input-queue bug that sometimes blocked command inputs as players cleared an encounter, which could disrupt or end runs.
  • Other targeted corrections include returning Artemis to her usual location by the river, stopping Dire Auto-Seekers from becoming stun-immune when their armor dropped, and clearing a Melinoë UI indicator glitch.
  • The update continues Supergiant’s pattern of quick, small fixes after larger April and early-June patches, and consoles (Switch and Switch 2) are confirmed as supported with the same fixes coming in a later rollout.
