Subaru Keeps 2027 Solterra Base Price at $38,495 as EV Retains Bigger Battery and NACS Charging

Keeping the same MSRP signals Subaru’s push to deliver upgraded range, faster charging, wider fast‑charger access

Overview

  • Subaru has published 2027 Solterra pricing and specs with the base Premium starting at $38,495 and trim‑level MSRPs of $41,395 for Limited, $42,895 for Limited XT, and $45,855 for Touring XT, plus destination and delivery fees.
  • Every 2027 Solterra uses a 74.7 kWh battery that Subaru estimates will deliver up to 288 miles of range, an uprated 11 kW onboard charger for quicker home charging, and fast‑charging capability that can add 10% to 80% in about 28–30 minutes at charging rates near 150 kW.
  • Performance is split by trim: XT models use an uprated dual‑motor setup rated at 338 hp with 0–60 mph in under five seconds, while Premium and Limited trims produce 233 hp from dual motors.
  • All 2027 Solterra models include a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port that opens access to more than 25,000 chargers in North America, including Tesla Superchargers, which reduces a major charging bottleneck for buyers.
  • The Solterra will begin arriving at U.S. retailers this fall, is assembled in Gunma, Japan, and ships standard safety and connectivity items such as a 14‑inch touchscreen, Subaru EyeSight driver‑assist, Symmetrical AWD, and X‑MODE off‑road traction modes.
