Subaru Cuts 2026 WRX Prices and Restores Base Trim as Standard Tech Expands

The move follows a 41% U.S. sales slide in 2025 for the performance sedan.

  • The returning base WRX starts at $32,495 before a $1,195 destination charge, lowering the entry price by more than $5,000 versus 2025.
  • Every 2026 model now includes an 11.6-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus EyeSight driver assistance, while the 271-hp 2.4-liter turbo boxer carries over.
  • Premium, Limited, GT, and tS trims also receive MSRP cuts compared with last year, with the CVT limited to the GT (standard) and available as an option on the Limited.
  • A new Series.Yellow edition based on the tS is limited to 350 units and is priced at $45,995.
  • In Australia, Subaru raised Crosstrek prices by $1,500 and made an Emergency Driving Stop System standard, and it streamlined the Impreza range to two variants with EDSS and price rises of $1,000 and $2,000.
