Studds Accessories IPO Hits 1.7x Subscription on Day Two as Retail, NII Drive Bidding

Retail and NII bids dominate early demand, with QIB participation still light.

Overview

  • Bids reached roughly 1.7 times the shares on offer by Oct. 31, following a 1.54 times close on day one, according to exchange data and broker tallies.
  • The offer is a pure offer-for-sale of about 77.9 lakh shares worth Rs 455.5 crore, so proceeds go to selling shareholders and not to the company.
  • The price band is Rs 557–585 per share with a lot size of 25 shares, and the subscription window runs from Oct. 30 to Nov. 3.
  • Studds raised about Rs 136.65 crore from anchors by allocating 23,35,836 shares at Rs 585 each ahead of the public offer.
  • Grey market premiums were reported around Rs 50–63, implying an estimated 9–11% listing upside, with allotment due Nov. 4 and a tentative listing on Nov. 7; GMP is unofficial and can change.
