Overview
- John McAdams, 65, was arrested at his Rollesby Way home after logging in to a supposed livestream arranged by an undercover officer.
- The offences took place between September 12 and October 9 last year during messages about abusing a fictional 10-year-old.
- He pleaded guilty on January 5 to arranging a child sex offence, attempting sexual communication with a child, making and distributing indecent images, and possessing extreme images of animals.
- Judge Nathan Adams at Teesside Crown Court also imposed a 15-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
- Investigators seized devices containing indecent images of children and animals, and he must sign the sex offenders’ register for life.
