- The five-show subscription season runs September 17, 2026 to July 3, 2027 across the Downstairs Theatre and the in-the-round Ensemble Theater, with memberships on sale now and single-ticket dates to come.
- Kenny Leon directs Suzan-Lori Parks’ Topdog/Underdog (Sept. 17–Nov. 1) starring artistic director Glenn Davis and ensemble member Namir Smallwood.
- Stephanie Alison Walker’s Adirondack Chair Circle receives its world premiere in the Ensemble Theater (Oct. 22–Dec. 6) under Pam MacKinnon, featuring artistic director Audrey Francis.
- Tina Landau stages the Chicago premiere of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ The Comeuppance (Feb. 4–March 21, 2027) in a co-production with American Conservatory Theater, with Celeste M. Cooper, Caroline Neff, Karen Rodriguez, and Namir Smallwood.
- Whitney White directs the English-language premiere of Marius von Mayenburg’s Ellen B. (April 1–May 9, 2027), followed by the world premiere of Adam Rapp’s The Night Fawn (May 27–July 3, 2027) directed by Terry Kinney and led by Cliff Chamberlain.
