Stellantis Q1 Shipments Climb 12% as Filosa’s Product Push Lifts North America and Europe

Management set modest 2026 targets with an investor day on May 21 in Detroit as the next test.

Overview

  • The automaker reported 1.4 million global shipments in the first quarter, a year-over-year increase of 12 percent.
  • North America rose 17 percent to about 379,000 units, while Enlarged Europe increased 12 percent to roughly 637,000.
  • Three models drove the North American rebound, as the Ram 1500 HEMI V8, refreshed Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and new Jeep Cherokee delivered more than all of the net growth.
  • Stellantis forecast mid-single-digit revenue growth for 2026 with a low-single-digit adjusted operating margin, and it aims to return to positive industrial free cash flow by 2027.
  • U.S. retail leaders said North America sales rose 4 percent even as the market is expected to fall about 6 percent, suggesting share gains for Ram, Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler dealers.
