Overview
- Drew Allar met with the Steelers at their facility Wednesday, in what Tom Pelissero reported was the team’s final day to hold pre-draft visits.
- The team does not know if Aaron Rodgers will play in 2026, which has pushed Pittsburgh to look closely at incoming quarterbacks.
- Pittsburgh has already brought in Miami’s Carson Beck, North Dakota State’s Cole Payton and Arkansas’s Taylen Green for visits this spring.
- Allar’s senior year ended early because of an ankle injury, and he told reporters at February’s scouting combine that the ankle was healing and he felt he could play if needed.
- Before the Pittsburgh stop, Allar visited the Cardinals earlier this week and reportedly worked out for the Jets, as teams assess a prospect some evaluators now peg for the middle rounds due to inconsistent touch and ball placement.
