Overview
- Indiana State Police say Tyler Dukes, 37, of Madison, died at the scene after his 2008 Mercury Mariner crossed the center line on US 50 near County Road 600 West.
- The SUV collided nearly head-on with a westbound 2022 Volvo semi-truck pulling a trailer shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday.
- The truck driver, Richard Murray, 26, of Spring Hill, Florida, was treated at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville for non-life-threatening injuries.
- Emergency responders found the SUV overturned in the roadway and the semi-truck overturned off the north side of the highway.
- The ISP Versailles District Crash Reconstruction Team is leading the investigation, and toxicology testing for both drivers is pending.
