- Saint Paul Public Schools will launch a temporary virtual option on Jan. 22, with classes canceled Jan. 20–21 for preparation and registration opened on Jan. 15.

- Minneapolis Public Schools continues an at-home learning option through Feb. 12, while districts including Fridley, Robbinsdale and Bloomington added online choices and Richfield’s Partnership Academy will go fully remote starting Jan. 20.

- Saint Paul officials report federal agents stopped two contracted vans carrying students and staff this week, and the district marked student walkout participants protesting ICE as absent or tardy.
