St. Albert Man Charged With Murder in Young Mother’s Death as RCMP Say Missing Baby Is Believed Dead

On Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, St. Albert RCMP arrested and charged 33-year-old Christopher William Beasley with second-degree murder and two counts of indignity to a body after officers found the body of 23-year-old Ayla Egotik-Learn on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026. Police believe Ayla’s nine-month-old daughter Braylee Beasley is missing and presumed dead.
