- The installation features 630 LED fixtures mounted on six high-mast towers to provide uniform illumination with reduced glare and shadows.
- A centralized control setup enables multiple operating modes, including dynamic lighting scenes designed to enhance spectator experience and broadcasts.
- Upgrades also include refurbished dressing rooms, offices for ICC match officials, broadcasters’ control and commentary rooms, and improved VIP boxes.
- SSC will host five T20 World Cup matches, beginning with Pakistan vs Netherlands on opening day, and it now joins Premadasa, Pallekele, Dambulla and Hambantota as Sri Lanka’s day-night venues.
