The update makes the assistant feel more local through distinct voices tailored to each language.
Overview
- Spotify, which announced the update Thursday, added French, German, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese to its AI DJ.
- The company is rolling the feature out to Premium users in Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, South Korea and Switzerland, bringing availability to more than 75 markets.
- New localized personas power the voices in each language: Maïa for French, Ben for German, Alex for Italian, and Dani for Brazilian Portuguese.
