Spanish Probe Into Alleged Poisoning on Disney Dream

A female Argentinian crew member fell ill during the Disney Dream's seven-night Barcelona-to-Southampton voyage and was treated onboard before being taken to Fátima Hospital, according to police reports.
After her discharge she filed a formal complaint alleging she had been poisoned and identified a fellow crew member as the suspected perpetrator.
Spain's Civil Guard boarded the ship in Vigo on July 24 and removed the water bottle the crew member said had been tampered with so it could be examined by investigators.
Some reports say authorities may test the bottle for chlorine but that claim and any toxicology findings remain unconfirmed and no arrests or charges have been announced.
The cruise completed its scheduled itinerary without reported disruption and investigators say further laboratory results will determine whether the case proceeds as a criminal poisoning probe.
