Spain’s San Silvestre Races Lock In Plans as Registrations Climb Nationwide

Cities are finalizing routes, entry limits and charity drives ahead of late‑December race days.

  • Elsewhere, Pontevedra’s 42nd race requires a 1‑kg food donation per bib and targets a record above 7,000 runners, Mérida opens entries for December 30 with age‑group circuits, and Avilés plans 3,200 bibs with more than half already reserved as Asturias anticipates over 20,000 participants across its events.
