Overview

  • The Starlink Group 17-24 mission from Vandenberg is scheduled for the evening of March 16 local time to deploy 25 satellites, a flight expected to push the active constellation past 10,000.
  • Falcon 9 first stage B1088 is slated to make its 14th flight from SLC-4E on a southerly track with a planned landing on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific.
  • Due to the southern trajectory, viewing from Arizona may be limited, with SpaceX providing a live webcast on its website and the X TV mobile app beginning shortly before liftoff.
  • SpaceX plans additional Starlink launches this week, including Starlink 10-46 from Cape Canaveral at 6:26 a.m. EDT on March 17 targeting a landing on A Shortfall of Gravitas, plus Starlink 17-15 from Vandenberg on March 20 returning to Of Course I Still Love You.
