SpaceX Launches 29 Starlink Satellites as Falcon 9 Booster Lands After 27th Flight

The V2 Mini payload expands the broadband constellation beyond 10,000 spacecraft.

  • Falcon 9 lifted off from Cape Canaveral’s Space Launch Complex 40 at 10:35 a.m. EDT on March 19 with the Starlink 10-33 batch.
  • First stage B1077 completed its 27th mission by landing on the droneship Just Read the Instructions about eight and a half minutes after liftoff.
  • All 29 satellites were released a little over an hour after launch, with deployment targeted near T+01:01:31 in the flight timeline.
  • The newly deployed spacecraft are moving in a tight “Starlink train” that will spread out over the coming days, offering brief visibility shortly after sunset or before sunrise.
  • Prelaunch forecasts from the 45th Weather Squadron called for about 75% favorable conditions at the window’s opening, decreasing to 60% by the end.
