Southwark Flat Fire: Tributes Grow for 16-Year-Old Footballer as Friend Remains Critical

Investigators have yet to confirm what sparked the blaze.

  • The Metropolitan Police and LFB’s Fire Investigation Unit are probing the incident, which is currently being treated as non-suspicious, with no cause confirmed.
  • Community fundraisers have passed £40,000 for Junior’s family and more than £5,000 for Shauny’s displaced family, and a memorial tournament has been announced for April 11.
