- Tommy Ballay-Dean, 16, known as Junior, was pronounced dead at his friend’s Cooper’s Road flat after the March 18 fire in Southwark.
- Another 16-year-old, named locally as Shauny Halsey, remains in an induced coma with life-threatening burns after transfer to a hospital in Essex for planned surgeries.
- The London Fire Brigade deployed four engines and about 25 firefighters, bringing the first-floor flat fire under control shortly after 4:30pm.
