South Wirral High Briefly Locked Down After Reported Blade Threat Near School

  • Merseyside Police were called at about 8:40am after a 15-year-old was reportedly threatened by two males on Plymyard Avenue in Eastham.
  • The suspects, said to have a bladed weapon, left the area before officers arrived and enquiries are ongoing to locate them.
  • South Wirral High initiated a precautionary lockdown based on information about individuals in the community, not on the school site.
  • No injuries were reported, and the school returned to normal operations following police assessment.
