South Kolkata Water Supply to Be Shut From 9:30 a.m. Saturday for Repairs
KMC says the time-boxed outage will fix a recurring leak near the Tollygunge rail bridge to curb water loss.

- Water will run on Saturday morning, then stop after 9:30 a.m., with no afternoon or evening supply and service expected to resume Sunday morning.
- The shutdown covers large parts of south Kolkata, including Jadavpur, Tollygunge, Behala, Joka, Maheshtala, Kasba and Budge Budge, with KMC listing disruptions in boroughs VIII to XII.
