- The permit authorizes construction and operation of stormwater controls and parking changes on a 3.60-acre site with 3.01 acres of impervious surface and 0.59 acres of pervious surface.
- Work is divided into two zones—a 3.40-acre area covering the Grand Floridian DVC and Wedding Pavilion parking and a 0.20-acre connection near the Island Tower DVC building—and will reconfigure lots to create a continuous parking area.
- Plans include a new covered connector between the DVC building and the Wedding Pavilion loop and a wet detention system to treat runoff before discharging to the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District master stormwater system; the project ties into nearby World Drive North Phase 3 roadway work.
