BET secured Spotify as the exclusive music partner, Toyota as sponsor, and Jesse Collins Entertainment to produce a taped Nov. 27 telecast with hosts and performers to be announced.

Overview

  • BET announced Thursday that the Soul Train Awards will return after a three-year pause with a taped ceremony scheduled for Friday, Nov. 27 in Chicago.
  • The telecast will air at 8 p.m. ET on BET and will simulcast on CBS for the first time while also running on BET Her, VH1, MTV2 and LOGO.
  • Spotify will serve as the awards’ exclusive music streaming partner and Toyota is the principal automotive sponsor for the revived franchise.
  • Jesse Collins Entertainment is producing the show with Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay as executive producers and Connie Orlando as BET’s executive producer.
  • The return follows a 2024–25 suspension intended to reimagine the ceremony for a shifting media landscape and signals BET’s strategy to broaden reach and use cross‑platform promotion to connect legacy R&B and soul artists with new talent.
