Overview
- ECOS opened in Mexico City at the Palacio de los Deportes on Tuesday, starting about two hours late but drawing a full, emotional crowd.
- Bassist Zeta Bosio apologized for “inconveniences” during the show as side screens failed at points and his mic briefly cut out.
- Engineer Adrián Taverna mixed Cerati’s original voice and guitar in real time so the avatar could interact with Charly Alberti and Bosio onstage.
- The production used about 800 synchronized LED tubes, multiple screens and holographic textiles, and it included a 3D segment that used glasses handed out at the door.
- The tour continues in Mexico with two more Mexico City dates before Guadalajara on April 18–19 and Monterrey on April 21–22, with Cerati’s family credited in shaping and approving the show.
