Overview
- Snowflake announced the coordinated Horizon, Trust Center, CoCo and compute roadmap at its Summit Tuesday, June 2, 2026, making Horizon AI Guardrails generally available while moving Agent Identity and other controls into public or private preview.
- Horizon Context is a new governed semantic layer that collects and enriches metadata, centralizes business logic, and ensures consistent definitions for AI, BI and applications to reduce metric drift.
- Snowflake expanded CoCo with a native desktop app, cloud agents, an Agent SDK and planned mobile and Slack integrations to let developers build governed, long-running agent workflows outside the browser.
- The company and partner Collibra announced a bi-directional integration that syncs Collibra’s governed business metadata into Snowflake and returns Snowflake technical lineage to Collibra in a preview for select customers with broader availability targeted for Q3 2026.
- Snowflake also added Adaptive Compute, sub-second streaming into Interactive Tables and Postgres data mirroring to supply the elastic, low-latency compute and pipelines needed for continuous, production agentic workloads and enterprise compliance.
