Snow Closes A-52 and N-525 at Zamora–Ourense Border

Authorities imposed the shutdown as a safety measure after trucks were held in Puebla de Sanabria.

Overview

  • The closures began at 19:40, halting both corridors through Sanabria in both directions for all vehicles.
  • The A-52 is shut between km 79 at Robleda-Cervantes and km 112 at the provincial limit with A Mezquita, according to the DGT.
  • The N-525 has been closed since 20:30 between Cobreros and A Mezquita, covering km 91 to km 115.
  • The measures followed a 19:00 restriction on heavy vehicles with trucks queued in Puebla de Sanabria to prevent blockages.
  • The Subdelegación del Gobierno in Zamora and the DGT say the cuts remain in place with no reopening announced.
