- The outlet said brown spots on large Slinky Dog graphics were initially speculated to be mold or mildew but sources assured them the buildup was dirt.
- A day earlier, multiple sites highlighted black patches on a blue Slinky Dog mural in the outdoor queue and noted the contamination sat low on the wall where children could touch it.
- Recent maintenance also removed a black mold line from a partially submerged “it’s a small world” gondola at Magic Kingdom over the weekend.
- Walt Disney World Resort has not issued a public statement addressing the recent reports across its parks.
