Overview
- Mega Crit released patch 0.106.0 to the Steam beta branch on May 22, 2026 and began a biweekly update cadence to iterate core balance through frequent beta patches.
- The Act Three boss Aeonglass was reworked so its Wither cards no longer retain or can be played away, and those cards escalate in damage every few turns, turning the fight into a time-sensitive damage race.
- Infested Prism was reworked to apply a stacking 'Tainted' penalty when you play skills that increases incoming damage per hit, making skill-heavy decks take growing self-damage over the encounter.
- The patch adjusts other enemies by changing attack order, removes or swaps specific moves (for example Haunted Ship lost Ramming Speed and Punch Construct now applies Frail), and changes status-ailment bookkeeping so effects like Vulnerable and Frail do not decrement on extra turns.
- Multiple class cards and relics were buffed or nerfed across Ironclad, Silent, Necrobinder and Defect, the update includes broad bug fixes and polish, and players have spotted some changes not listed in the official notes that the community is still testing.
