Overview
- Sky confirmed the inaugural ensemble of 11: Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.
- Episodes will broadcast live each Saturday with a different guest host and musical guest, featuring an opening monologue, topical sketches and a UK take on Weekend Update.
- The series is produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio’s UK team with Broadway Video for Sky and NOW, with Lorne Michaels as executive producer.
- Creative leads include James Longman as lead producer, Liz Clare as lead director and Daran Jonno Johnson as head writer, with additional writers to be announced.
- The show will film in London with a six-episode first season; guest lineups and any U.S. streaming or broadcast plans have not yet been confirmed.
