SJ-100 Set to Depart for Wings India as UAC Plans Foreign Debut of Il-114-300

The domestically equipped regional jets target India's UDAN-driven market expansion.

  • Russia’s fully import-substituted SJ-100 will fly to Hyderabad in the coming days, the deputy industry minister said, ahead of Wings India 2026 from January 28–31 at Begumpet Airport.
  • United Aircraft Corporation and Rostec say the showing will mark the first foreign presentation of the import-substituted SJ-100 and the Il-114-300.
  • The SJ-100 will be on static display in a special livery featuring India’s flag colors, with serial-production assembly and Russian systems including the PD-8 engine.
  • The Il-114-300 will be exhibited with a fitted cabin, positioned to replace aging An-24s on domestic routes and to compete with ATR 72 and Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft.
  • Rostec chief Sergey Chemezov expects deliveries of 12 import-substituted Superjets in 2026.
