Overview
- Shots were reported around 2:40 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Franklin Avenue in Normal, Illinois.
- Responding officers found six gunshot victims—two male juveniles, two men, and two women—who were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
- Illinois State University police said two of those injured are students and confirmed the scene was off campus.
- No arrests or suspects in custody had been announced by midday Sunday as authorities processed the scene and collected evidence.
