Six Flags Revives Holiday in the Park at Two Parks With Immersive, Multi‑Year Overhaul

The redesign responds to guest feedback after 2025 cancellations following the Cedar Fair merger.

Overview

  • Six Flags, which announced the move Tuesday, will relaunch Holiday in the Park in 2026 at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey and Six Flags Over Georgia near Atlanta as the first phase of a multi‑year plan with three new themed lands at each park.
  • The reimagined event will function as a “living holiday storybook” with nightly tree lightings, carolers, indoor stage shows, and expanded live entertainment across the parks.
  • Families can expect an indoor walk‑through attraction, cookie and gingerbread decorating, photos with Santa, festive photo ops, and seasonal tasting menus created by each park’s culinary team.
  • Many coasters and kids’ areas will run by day and under holiday lights at night, while specific dates, hours, show lineups, and ride lists will be announced later.
  • Admission will be included with active Memberships, and a Memorial Day sale offers Gold or Prestige Members at the two parks a free 2026 All Season Drink Plan, signaling a push to tie the event to pass value.
