- Six Flags Great Adventure, which announced the plan Thursday, set Shoreline Pier to debut in late spring with five attractions and a new Boardwalk setting.
- Barrels O’ Fun began construction earlier this year as a family spinning coaster with wooden barrel cars that dip and twist like bobbing buoys.
- Four rides will move this spring from the shuttered Six Flags America to the new area, joining a fully refurbished Super Roundup from 1974.
- The park is also building a second coaster on the former Green Lantern site that the company says will chase multiple world records, with track due by the end of 2026 and testing in early 2027, according to spokesperson Ryan Eldredge.
- Guests will find boardwalk staples like disco fries, corn dogs, Rita’s Italian Ice, and a summer Boardwalk Nights show, with a Passholder Preview on Friday, March 27 and public opening on Saturday, March 28.
