Six Flags Fiesta Texas Imposes Daily Chaperone Rule for Guests 17 and Under

The park says the change responds to rising disruptive behavior across amusement venues.

Overview

  • The park’s website now lists the chaperone rule as in effect every day from open to close after a social post referenced weekend enforcement and one report cited March 28–29, and it may begin earlier with advance notice.
  • The rule applies to all visitors, including season pass and membership holders.
  • A chaperone who is at least 21 must enter and stay with the group, show a government photo ID, and supervise no more than five minors.
  • Staff may ask guests who appear to be 17 or older to show ID to confirm age, and teens without proof may be turned away unless they arrive with a qualifying adult.
  • Minors found inside without a chaperone can be removed, and a group can be removed if its chaperone leaves or cannot be reached.
