Six Die After Cars Plunge Into Canals in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh

Police have opened investigations citing suspected overspeeding.

  • Itarsi SDOP Virendra Kumar Mishra said post-mortems are underway and a probe is examining the sequence of events, with eyewitnesses reporting the vehicle locked and sank before escape was possible.
