Overview
- Five AI, STEM and robotics laboratories are being set up in government schools across Hosapete taluk as part of the pilot.
- Two fully equipped labs are already operational at Amaravati PU College, serving nearly 1,200 girl students.
- More than 100 teachers have completed training, with further batches planned to ensure sustained classroom support.
- Cyient Foundation is implementing the programme with the Karnataka government, with about ₹1 crore committed over three years.
- Each lab includes high‑performance computers, AI‑ready software, robotics and IoT kits, sensors and secure broadband, targeting 2,000+ students and projecting benefits for roughly 6,000 households.
