- He said an online window was always planned after a longer gap from cinemas to keep focus on the big-screen run first.
- SonyLIV will also premiere Sitaaron Ke Sitaare, a documentary that profiles the parents of the film’s 10 neurodivergent first-time actors.
- The streaming date follows his July 2025 pay-per-view release on his YouTube channel, when he rejected reported Rs 125 crore OTT bids to charge viewers about Rs 100 per watch.
- Directed by R S Prasanna and co-starring Genelia Deshmukh, the 2025 film earned about Rs 265 crore worldwide and has been framed as a spiritual follow-up to Taare Zameen Par.
