‘Singin’ in the Rain’ Sets Sheffield Christmas Run and 2027 UK–Ireland Tour

The revival signals a large-scale return with more than 20 stops across the UK and Ireland.

Overview

The production will play Sheffield’s Crucible from November 26, 2026 to January 16, 2027 as the launch of the new run.
After Sheffield, the tour opens in Bromley in January 2027 and includes a summer return to London’s Sadler’s Wells.
The itinerary spans more than 20 venues, with stops in Belfast, Dublin, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Southampton.
Local dates announced so far include Norwich on July 6–10, 2027 and Wycombe Swan on April 27–May 1, 2027.
Jonathan Church directs a staging known for its nightly 14,000-litre rain effect and the original MGM songs from the classic film.
