Singer Delivers First Customer DLS Turbo ‘Sorcerer’

The Fantasia Blue, 964-based commission launches the program with UK build, modern Bosch controls, track-focused aero.

Overview

  • The first DLS Turbo customer car, nicknamed Sorcerer, is a 964-era 911 reimagined with full carbon bodywork and a towering rear wing chosen in the track-focused configuration.
  • Power comes from a re-engineered 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six with water-cooled heads and variable-geometry turbos, rated at about 710 hp and 750 Nm and revving to 9,000 rpm through a six-speed manual to the rear wheels.
  • Chassis upgrades include a strengthened 964 monocoque, double-wishbone front suspension, forged center-lock magnesium wheels (19-inch front, 20-inch rear) and carbon-ceramic brakes.
  • Electronic systems developed with Bosch add ABS, traction control and stability control with five selectable modes: Road, Sport, Track, Off and Weather.
  • Singer says DLS Turbo cars are finished at its UK facility following testing at venues including Nardò and the Nürburgring; pricing was not disclosed, further commissions are reported, and the styling has drawn criticism from some outlets.
