Singapore Airlines to Restart Nonstop SingaporeRiyadh Flights in June 2026

The move marks a return to Saudi Arabia following a 2014 withdrawal.

  • Service begins June 2, 2026 with four weekly flights operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays as SQ498 and SQ499.
  • Singapore departures are scheduled for 6:20pm, with return flights leaving Riyadh at 11:00pm local time.
  • The route will use the Airbus A350-900 medium-haul aircraft configured with 303 seats, including 40 in business class and 263 in economy.
  • Launch plans remain subject to regulatory approval, and tickets will be released progressively through SIA’s distribution channels.
  • Riyadh becomes the SIA Group’s second destination in Saudi Arabia, complementing Scoot’s four-times-weekly Jeddah service.
