- Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said a comprehensive operation against extortion and organised crime has been relaunched across Sindh.
- He said handlers operate from abroad, adding that the federal government informed Sindh that Interpol was contacted and red warrants were issued for a ringleader.
- The cabinet approved Rs9.282 billion to repair roads and allied facilities across SITE, Korangi, Landhi, North Karachi, F.B. Area, Bin Qasim and the SITE Superhighway.
- Allocations include Rs2 billion each for KATI and LATI, Rs2 billion for SITE, Rs1 billion for BQATI, Rs860.55 million for F.B. Area, Rs721.74 million for North Karachi and Rs700 million for the SITE Superhighway phases.
- The works will be financed from the Infrastructure Development Cess with disbursement urged via grant-in-aid, and a separate Rs964.407 million was approved to procure buses.
