Shark Launches ChillPill, a $150 Modular 3-in-1 Personal Cooler Available Today

Early hands-on reviews say all three cooling modes work effectively.

Overview

  • The ChillPill goes on sale today for $149.99 on Amazon, with availability expanding to Shark’s site and other retailers on March 11.
  • Its interchangeable caps deliver a 10-speed high‑velocity fan (topping out at about 25 feet per second), a Dry Touch mist with constant or interval settings, and a cooling plate designed to drop skin temperature in seconds.
  • Battery life is rated up to 11 hours on the lowest fan setting and about 1.5 hours on max, while the mister’s small reservoir provides roughly 10 minutes of continuous spray or longer in interval mode.
  • A twisting hinge lets the device prop up for hands-free use as a desk fan, and the mister and cooling plate accessories are included in the box.
  • Early testers praised the refreshing “dry” mist and surprisingly strong top fan speed, and they noted that carrying and wearable straps are sold separately along with minor grip slickness on the control side.
