Overview
- More than 700 settlements across 19 regions were fully or partly without power after strong winds and thunderstorms overnight.
- The national grid operator said regional utility crews were restoring damaged lines where it is safe to work.
- Ongoing Russian drone strikes also left parts of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kherson without electricity.
- Ukrenergo reported demand was 4.2% lower than the previous working day because sunny weather boosted home solar output and many customers were offline from the storm.
- The operator set a household use plan, asking heavy use from 10:00 to 16:00 and restraint from 18:00 to 22:00, and said no rolling outages were planned.
