  • Firefighters found a damaged gas line feeding one blaze and used a clamp to reduce flow before ATCO gas made repairs, and crews used a ladder tower to extinguish the second fire with no reported injuries.
  • An air-quality advisory for moderate- to high-risk smoke issued Monday remained active but was expected to diminish through Wednesday, creating overlapping safety and health concerns for residents and emergency services.
