Overview
- In Unnao, four members of a family on a motorcycle were killed after a speeding truck hit a container and then ran over them on the Lucknow–Kanpur highway, with police seizing the truck and working to trace the driver.
- On the Gola–Lakhimpur National Highway in Lakhimpur Kheri, four family members died when their car was struck by an unidentified vehicle, and police said dense fog is suspected as a factor, with two relatives surviving with minor injuries.
