- Mexico’s Education Ministry confirms a national school recess from Monday, March 30, to Friday, April 10, with classes resuming on Monday, April 13.
- Aguascalientes, with SEP approval, shifts its student break to April 20–May 4 to align with the Feria de San Marcos, while suspending classes on April 2–3 and returning on Tuesday, May 5.
- Students nationwide also have no classes on Friday, March 27, for a scheduled Consejo Técnico Escolar session, effectively extending time off before the recess.
- The Ley Federal del Trabajo does not make Holy Thursday or Good Friday mandatory paid holidays, leaving employers to decide whether to grant those days off.
