Sedapal Extends Scheduled Water Outages in Lima Through March 1–2

The utility says the suspensions enable maintenance to improve service.

  • New notices confirm multi-hour cuts on March 1–2, with detailed sector lists led by multiple zones in Ate and an additional sector in Los Olivos.
  • March 1 in Ate: Sector 175 will be without service from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sector 177 from 1:00 p.m. to 11:50 p.m.
  • March 2 in Ate: Sector 176 is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sector 152 also from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sector 180 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Los Olivos Sector 83 is set from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Sedapal attributes the interruptions to tasks such as reservoir cleaning, network maintenance and pipe connections, with individual outages lasting up to about 12 hours.
  • The utility has disseminated updates via its WhatsApp channel and advises residents to store water in advance and contact Aquafono at (01) 317-8000 for restoration times or delays.
