Overview
- Sedapal is executing planned suspensions of potable water service for maintenance across multiple districts on Tuesday and Wednesday, with work active for 26–27 May.
- Some neighborhoods face long outages of several hours and up to 16 hours in parts of Lurigancho as Sedapal performs reservoir cleaning, empalmes and pipe and valve repairs.
- To reduce hardship Sedapal has deployed cistern trucks at key points, published district schedules online and set up the Aquafono hotline ((01) 317‑8000) for status and supply queries, and it says restoration will be progressive after each job ends.
- Pluz Energía has published separate electricity‑maintenance cuts for 27–29 May that overlap parts of the water schedule and raise the risk of simultaneous loss of water and power for affected households and services.
