Overview
- A 49-foot, three-deck cabin cruiser named Volare capsized about 600 yards off Alcatraz on Tuesday after witnesses reported it took on water in rough seas.
- One passenger was pulled from the water and later identified as Clifford Joseph Boisa, 79, three people remain missing, and a dog also died while most of the roughly 20 passengers were rescued or treated and released.
