- Julie Elizabeth Goforth, a 63-year-old Long Beach resident, was last seen at El Mirage Dry Lake after separating from a riding partner on Friday, July 10, and she has not been found.
- San Bernardino County search teams and volunteers have scoured the 27,000-acre off‑highway area using helicopters, drones, search dogs, horseback units, ATVs and family-organized planes and bikes without locating Goforth or her Kawasaki KLX300R.
- Authorities say Goforth is an at-risk person because temperatures topped 100 degrees and she likely had only about a gallon of water in a hydration pack, raising urgent concerns about dehydration.
